Joining a Call

Joining a call in MS Studio involves a few simple steps. Here's a detailed guide to help you get connected smoothly:

Stable Internet Connection

First and foremost, ensure that you have a reliable and stable internet connection. A fast internet connection is essential for maintaining high-quality audio and video during the call. A minimum download speed of 5 Mbps is generally recommended for smooth participation in call sessions.

Follow Host's Instructions

Next, you'll need to follow the specific instructions provided by your host based on the virtual network service they are using. Here are the steps for different services:

Important Note: Use the call feature only with people you trust. Virtual LAN connections made through Radmin VPN and other services allow people to access much more than just MS Studio. For more secure usage, consider following the guidelines on the MS Studio without the Call Feature.

  1. Join the Host's Network:
    • Open Radmin VPN.
    • Click on "Join Network" and enter the network name and password provided by your host.
  2. Copy the Host's IP:
    • Once connected to the network, find your host's IP address in Radmin VPN.
    • Copy this IP address to use in MS Studio.

    • Open LogMeIn Hamachi.
    • Click on "Network" -> "Join an existing network" and enter the network ID and password provided by your host.
  2. Copy the Host's IP:
    • After joining the network, find the host's IP address listed in LogMeIn Hamachi.
    • Copy this IP address for use in MS Studio.

ZeroTier

  1. Join the Host's Network:
    • Open ZeroTier.
    • Click on "Join Network" and enter the network ID provided by your host.
  2. Copy the Host's IP:
    • Once connected, find your host's IP address in ZeroTier.
    • Copy this IP address to use in MS Studio.

Join the Call

Finally, with the host's IP address copied from the virtual network service:

  1. Open MS Studio.
  2. Navigate to the "Join" panel.
  3. Enter the copied IP address and provided port into the designated fields.
  4. Click the "Join" button.

By following these steps, you will be able to join the call hosted by your friend or colleague seamlessly. Enjoy your call!
