Hosting a Call

When hosting a call in MS Studio you need a couple of things:

Stable Internet Connection

A reliable and fast internet connection is crucial. While exact speeds can vary depending on the amount of users in a call, a minimum upload speed of 5 Mbps is recommended for hosting small call sessions.

Virtual Networking

You will need a reliable and good virtual networking service that allows LAN connections between computers. Services like Radmin VPN (Recommended), LogMeIn Hamachi, and ZeroTier provide excellent options for creating secure and private network connections over the internet. These services ensure that all participants can connect seamlessly as if they were on the same local network, which is essential for maintaining high-quality communication and collaboration.

Important Note: Use the call feature only with people you trust. Virtual LAN connections made through Radmin VPN and other services allow people to access much more than just MS Studio. For more secure usage, consider following the guidelines on the MS Studio without the Call Feature.

Starting a Call

Navigate to the Host Panel in MS Studio. You will be asked for the port (default 12345) of your server and your DelayMode, then click start and you've done it!
