Host Tools
As a host in MS Studio, you have access to two powerful tools that enhance the calling experience: Metronome and 123 Count. Here's how to use each of them effectively:
Metronome
The Metronome feature allows you to set a specific tempo for your session. Here's how it works:
-
Set the BPM (Beats Per Minute): Type in the desired BPM you want to follow. This metronome is not just a typical one; it is specially designed to sync down to the millisecond when enabled on the server. This precise synchronization allows participants to react accordingly in real time.
-
Start the Metronome: After entering the BPM, click the start button to begin. The metronome will keep running, and you do not need to stop it to switch BPMs; it will automatically adjust to any new BPM you set.
Example Usage:
- If you want to maintain a tempo of 120 BPM, simply enter that value, start the metronome, and let it run throughout the session.
123 Count
The 123 Count button is a straightforward but effective tool. When clicked, it will play a sound through everyone's speakers, providing a clear audible cue for synchronization.
Features:
- You can listen to the sound that will be played to ensure it fits your needs.
- This tool is useful for signaling transitions or important moments during your session.
Example Usage:
- Click the 123 Count button whenever you need to signal the start of an activity or event during the call.
By utilizing these host tools, you can enhance the collaboration and synchronization within your calls, making for a smoother and more engaging experience for all participants.
